On August 7, 2020, two CSAE standards organized and compiled by the Automotive Aerodynamics Committee of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering and led by Tongji University were formally approved and released.
The two CSAE standards led by Tongji University include: Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel Test for Automotive Vehicle Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel Test Methods (T/CSAE 146-2020), and Wind Noise Test for Automotive Vehicle Aeroacoustic Wind Tunnel Leakage Noise Measurement Methods (T/CSAE 147-2020).
Based on the technical indexes of the existing vehicle wind tunnels in China, and through extensive research on the existing test methods of domestic automobile enterprises, the two standards have established the measurement methods of aerodynamic force and leakage noise of automobile, and standardized the measurement methods of aerodynamic force and leakage noise, and standardized the measurement methods of leakage noise. It is also conducive to the study of the development status of vehicle aerodynamics and wind noise performance, reducing the development cost at the initial stage of R&D and shortening the development cycle.
